February Morning Basket for Homeschool

New month, new goals, and a new morning basket! February is here and is one of my favorite months in winter. It brightens up just a little before spring and is all about love. So, today, I am sharing with you all of the books we will be reading throughout February that I will keep in our morning basket. From books about Groundhog Day to Valentine’s Day to about self-love. Most of these books we will be reading together and most I will be leaving in the morning basket for them to read whenever they like. This is our February Morning Basket for Homeschool

Groundhog Day

The first book we will be reading in our February Morning Basket for homeschool is Double Trouble Groundhog Day by Bethany Roberts. We love this story and its a perfect explanation of what Groundhog Day is for the little ones. Along with it we will be coloring our own groundhogs and searching when spring will come.

Valentine’s Day

Black History Books

February is Black History Month and even though we celebrate black history all year in our homeschool I am sharing some of our favorite books we use throughout the year.

For the month of February we are also doing a drawing challenge, 28 days of drawing for my 3rd grader. He loves to draw and I thought this would be something fun we both can do together. Here is the printable for the drawing challenge if you would like to join us!
