Stories are how we learn. Quality books are important to the soul as they teach us lessons, emotions, and about life in general. Books take us to other worlds we may never get to experience in real life. In Waldorf Education, storytelling is essential. We are Waldorf-inspired homeschoolers and over the past two years, I have searched for the best Waldorf winter books. I wanted to curate them into one list. I am doing this for each season because it’s simpler for the mind. The Waldorf winter books I have chosen are quality stories that are for the children more than for the parents. There are many wonderful winter picture books out there but I feel as though many have been written for the parent more so than the child. These books are rich with stories and beautiful illustrations to fascinate the child.
