Every year I love to create these glitter and glue fireworks with the kids because it is so simple and easy to do. They get so into creating them and then we hang them up for the 4th of July. It can also be messy so I definitely suggest parent supervision. I do not know about you but my kids love the messiest crafts. It is almost like the messier the better, am I right? Here is an easy Independence Day craft to do with your kids.
Supplies you need
- Glue
- Glitter (any colors)
- Paper
How to make glitter and glue fireworks?
Draw the design of your firework on the paper with glue. We use Elmer’s glue. We have never used glue sticks but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. As long as the glitter sticks. Then sprinkle the glitter all over your firework design. Dump the glitter on another piece of paper and hello! Pretty fireworks. They are much safer and can be what you want them to be! Children love this activity because it is creative and can be whatever they want. I hope you enjoyed this easy independence day craft. Enjoy and stay peaceful.
